Owing to growing demand for IELTS (International English Language Testing System) in the country, the British Council, one of the co-creators of IELTS, is offering the world’s most widely recognised English proficiency test. Backed by acceptance from worldwide universities, British Council helps participants reach the required level through training in four sections: reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. British Council has deployed internationally trained English experts adept in IELTS exams, to help students learn test-taking strategies to help maximise their test results, receive feedback on individual strengths and areas needing improvement through practice tasks. Teenagers or adults interested in pursuing diverse prospects can apply under different levels ranging from pre-intermediate, intermediate and upper-intermediate, depending on the stage of proficiency required. The IELTS Academic test measures whether one has the level of English language proficiency needed for an academic environment.
