A collaboration between the British Council in Kuwait and the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters to introduce a set of events displaying a new era of UK performance arts, visual arts, music, poetry and outdoor performance for the very first time in Kuwait.

An evening of poetry rendition to the public by Tom Warner in the National Library. The evening will bring together Tom and a group of Kuwaiti writers, poets and enthusiasts in the National Library. The evening will comprise of a poetry rendition/reading by Tom Warner.

An outdoors performance by Dream Engine called Heliosphere in Marina Crescent. Spiralling and spinning and seemingly weightless, an acrobat suspended beneath a helium balloon explores the uncharted space between street level and rooftops.

An indoors theatre performance by The Paper Cinema called “Odyssey” in Salmiya Theatre. The Paper Cinema’s Odyssey is a vivid reinvention of Homer’s cornerstone of literature, staged with the company’s trademark beautiful illustration and masterful puppetry.
