Terms and Conditions
Avail a discount of 20% per Careem ride for up to two Careem rides.
The discount code provided to you (the test taker/rider) for the trip is under the ultimate control of Careem and is not part of the services by the British Council in Kuwait (the “British Council”). Accordingly, you agree that the Terms and Conditions in your End User Terms and Privacy Policy with Careem shall govern in totality your Careem ride to the British Council IELTS venue including usage of the discount code provided. The discount code is for your exclusive use and purpose and shall cover only your Careem ride to the British Council IELTS venue. It does not create any rights or benefits enforceable by the test taker/ rider or any other third party.
The discount code will be sent by email when you register for your IELTS test with the British Council.
British Council shall not be liable to the test taker/rider whether in contract or negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise for any direct, indirect consequential loss or damage, physical injury, death, costs or expenses whatsoever or howsoever arising out of or in connection with your End User Terms and Privacy Policy directly with Careem including usage of the discount code provided.
British Council shall not be liable to indemnify the test taker/rider or any third party for claims of any loss or damages whatsoever, physical injury or death which may have been directly or indirectly suffered by the test taker/rider or any third party as a result of the negligence, act or omission of Careem, the driver or any third party in course of your ride to the British Council IELTS venue including usage of the discount code provided.
Nothing herein shall be construed as creating a partnership or agency relationship between Careem and British Council and neither party shall account for the other or bear any responsibility/liability for the other.
