Our Kids courses are specially designed to help young children feel comfortable with language. Mistakes are viewed as a natural part of the learning process and this gives them the confidence to use English in the classroom.
Using games, stories, songs and movement, our Kids courses make learning a creative and enjoyable experience.

Choose an English for Kids course and your child will:
- have a qualified and experienced young learner teacher

The right level for your child
We have courses at Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate level for kids from the age of six.
If your child is new to the British Council, they will need to take a placement test to find out which level is right for them. Book a test by calling or by visiting our Kuwait English Language Centre.
How do we assess Kids' progress?
We use continuous assessment to measure progress and Kids are encouraged to choose the work they want to include in their English Portfolio.
At the end of each term, your child will get a report with comments from their teacher about their participation and progress.
